See what parents have to say about our childcare services!

This is our son Owen’s 3rd year attending Aa to Zz. The staff is absolutely amazing; making every child feel special and loved. We have and will continue to recommend Aa to Zz to our families and to our friends.

We have been involved with Aa to Zz since 2009, when it was time for me to return to work and we needed child care for our daughter. She was only 12 weeks old. We were very nervous as she required some special help with feeding, due to a Cleft Palate. The Aa to Zz staff were very reassuring and spent the extra time needed to ensure she was getting enough nutrition. As a first time mother of a very difficult baby, I was always appreciative of the food advice and suggestions from the staff. I don’t know how they did it but they were always calm and positive. They shared in the celebrations of our milestones and helped out children work toward the next one.

When it came time for our second daughter to go to daycare, we knew that she belonged at Aa to Zz as well. Maddy was always happy at school and loved her teachers. We are always, pleasantly surprised, at all that she learned and knew when she came home.

The girls are now 3 and 5 and they have never not wanted to go to school. They’ve always bonded well to their teachers and have made good friends. They’ve learned to interact with others in a positive way. We really do feel that Aa to Zz has been able to offer them more than they would get at home with a stay at home parent. I appreciate their patience and teaching abilities. The teachers seem to look for activities and learning experiences that are fun and interesting such as milk jug igloos and nature scavenger hunts.

Maddy has started Kindergarten now and she transitioned almost effortlessly. Aa to Zz has worked with us to manage transportation, and I feel they helped prepare her for a school environment. Again, she always want to go to school and has a positive attitude about school.

We appreciate all that Aa to Zz has offered our daughters. We also look forward to watching them grow with Aa to Zz’s help in the future. They have made things easier over the last 5-6 years, as there is nothing easy about being a parent.

Thanks for everything!

Our daughter attended Aa to Zz’s Hummelstown center from the age of 3 months well into being 4 years old. Ms. Phyllis cared for our daughter in the infant room. She was always very professional and is tender and caring with children in their first year of life. The center has enjoyed her skill with infants for the entirety of our family’s time with the center, which is comforting to see a staff member with the center for so long, and that is just naming one of the center’s very caring and qualified staff members. The staff has also given a great deal of attention and security to our child, we never felt a need to worry for her safety when she was in the care of the center. The fact that the facility provides formula and/or meals to your child as part of the tuition was a great money-saver, and also relieved us of the responsibility of constantly restocking the daycare with food for our daughter. The learning program has also done well by our child; we were shocked when at 2 years old our daughter already knew her alphabet. The staff is also very personable and tries to work with you and your child on developmental skills, potty training was especially well executed and was a great help to our daughters potty training phase.

We would highly recommend Aa to Zz Child Care and Learning Center in Hummelstown to any parent that is looking for a safe and professional environment where their child can be socialized, educated and nurtured into a fully capable young person.

I wanted to thank you so much for working with me with moving my son to your location in Hummelstown.  As a parent, it makes my day to see my son happy.  When we pick him up from daycare, [he] always says, without us even asking, that he had fun and wants to come back.  When I drop him off in the morning, I always walk in on a structured activity such as a walk outside, a reading circle, or an art project.  It is so nice to see [his] room decorated with the children’s artwork.  Please let your teachers know how much I appreciate their hard work!

I just wanted to let you know that when I had my conference with Ms. Aurelia this morning, she made a comment that [my son] has made such an improvement and that we (Mike and I) should “keep doing what we are doing.”  Well, as a parent I hate to admit it but we really haven’t been doing much with [my son] at home as far as his letters and numbers……..it is ALL her!  She has done such a great job with [my son] and we appreciate her hard work so much!!  We are confident that she has prepared [my son] for kindergarten and we are not worried about his ability to thrive in his new school setting!  THANK YOU MS. AURELIA!!!!
